The sunshine may come and go, but you can still get out and enjoy your local area.

   Our Eastern edition includes a special feature on Lee-on-the-Solent. With history on the area, lots of local businesses advertising and a map to help you find them all Lee-on Solent is well worth a visit. We also have a section on the busy market town of Fareham, which has some interesting facts on the area to go with our advertisers. So whether it’s shopping or history you want, Fareham is an ideal day trip.

We travel a little further with our Central edition when we visit the Brighton Lanes. The Lanes are charming and quirky and the shops sell everything from jewellery to sweets and toys and everything in between. Even the derelict and abandoned buildings are decorated with artist’s murals, as they should be in a town that is well known for it’s art. Or you could spend the day or a weekend in Salisbury, this modern city is a classic English market town. There is always a contradiction of old and new wherever you look, with it’s Cathedral and Tudor buildings alongside new and modern companions.
